Luciela began as a personal frustration. I wanted lingerie that looked beautiful and felt special, yet was comfortable enough for everyday wear. But everything I tried either dug in or rode up, and ended up at the bottom of the lingerie drawer.
So one day I decided to create my own. With no background in fashion and alongside a full-time job in software sales, I spent the next four years researching and learning everything I could. I worked between Madrid and Lisbon, testing materials, refining fits, and working with a small network of talented women. It was slow, difficult and full of wrong turns – but also full of small victories that eventually became Luciela.
Luciela officially launched in 2023, but the heart of the brand is everything that happened before: the learning curve, the late nights, the messiness of figuring things out without a guide.
Today, every collection is designed with the same intention: to create beautiful lingerie you can reach for every day, not just on special occasions. Each piece is crafted with carefully selected European materials, and handmade in a boutique lingerie atelier in Lisbon. Sustainability guides every decision I make, from the fabrics I choose to collections produced in small, thoughtful batches.
Since launching, Luciela has remained intentionally small: women-run, independently led, and committed to sustainable, limited-run capsule collections.
I still oversee every detail – from the designs and materials to the packaging on your orders. I draw inspiration from the women around me, and from the belief that we shouldn’t have to choose between lingerie that looks good and feels good.
